Sarah graduated with a Bachelor of Arts, in Studio Art, from Western Washington University in 1998. After majoring with an emphasis in painting, she moved home to Seattle and began an exploration in assemblage and installation art.

Sarah was a member of Oculus Gallery and a contributor to The RedHeaded StepChild artist journal. She has had solo shows at Oculus and Pound Gallery. Her work has been a part of shows at SOIL, King County Arts Commission Gallery, Consolidated Works and The Seattle Art Museum Rental/Sales Gallery. Sarah has also exhibited in Brooklyn NY, Los Angeles and Victoria BC. She was a winner of the Artist Trust GAP grant for the year 2000.

Following a move to Portland Oregon, Sarah took classes at the Pacific Northwest College of Art. While living in Honolulu she studied plein air painting through the Honolulu Museum School of Art. These experiences reawakened Sarah’s love of painting. She continues this practice in Tacoma, WA where she lives with her husband and two kids.
