Watercolor is my first love. It makes the best accidents. I like the game of trying to achieve detail with the unpredictable medium. Color and composition are always important to me and I strive to find balance between them.
For subject matter I often look to what is immediately in front of me, whether it is a plant, a place or a memory of something in a photo. I paint to spend time with things and to engage more deeply with the world.
